RECENT PROJECTS

DARTFORD AND GRAVESHAM NHS TRUST

D&G approached us asking us to provide practical training aimed at Band 5 and 6 ward nurses who lacked the confidence to undertake assessments for their patients. A large proportion of staff come from abroad, meaning they were not conversant with the MCA (2005). This all put pressure on support staff and impacted on discharge management.

Our three on-demand mental capacity training videos provide the ideal solution for their nurses as they are able to access the training from their e-learning platform, at a time suitable to them within their busy workloads. And, with unlimited access, D&G were also able to open the training to a wider group of staff.

PARTNER TRAINING:
FINANCIAL VULNERABILITY

We have delivered a series of webinars for Ascot Lloyd, looking at both the basics of financial vulnerability and the practicalities of how to support clients in vulnerable circumstances.

Our clinical and regulatory knowledge enabled their advisers to build on their existing knowledge and by using case studies around bereavement and dementia, we were able to bring this sensitive area to life and highlight how this fitted into their current internal documentation processes.

MENTAL CAPACITY TRAINING

Tim Farmer is a regular speaker and trainer at various Irwin Mitchell events. He has delivered training for specific departments within Irwin Mitchell such as Private Client which focused on the practicalities of assessing mental capacity in line with the Mental Capacity Act and associated caselaw.
